I am a math and science tutor who can help you build a great foundation in a variety of courses. I can also teach you good study habits for classroom use, the underlying concepts of each topic, and give you the motivation you need. I have many years of experience in tutoring a number of different chemistry subjects. I have conducted examination reviews and prepared workshops on specific topics in organic chemistry. Beyond chemistry, I have also worked with students in a number of other science subjects, including biophysics, biochemistry, biology, and genetics.I have had my tutoring skills recognized by my students, as I have received a Top Tutor award, which is based on a tutor's working habits and student ratings. My philosophy is to engage my students as part of our learning, and to teach from different angles of a subject to give my students a different perspective. I also assess what concepts are confusing to a student by asking questions that may seem tricky in order to have them focus on details they may be missing.In my free time, I enjoy dancing, art, music, and my exotic pets.
